Guardians of the Everglades®

To introduce the public to the fragile beauty of the Everglades and its unique ecosystem; to honor today’s leadership in conservation and restoration through great art and compelling human stories; and to encourage the public and policy makers to participate in the protection of the Everglades.

Fall Colors

Fall Colors in South Florida means acres and acres of golden sunflowers. Enjoy the beauty and peacefulness, thanks to Guardian Ed Carlson.

Director John Scoular has produced a two minute promo video of our new studio and showroom full of friends at our opening Summer Insiders’ Party.  More parties are coming, so let us know if you want to be on the invitation list.

Carole Dean and From the Heart Productions is honoring our documentary (work in progress) at http://fromtheheartproductions.com/hot-films-in-the-making/. We have an A-list production team, a dynamite story -- actually, the riveting stories of each of the Guardians as well as our stories -- and abundant beauty, but insufficient funding to complete production.  Visit YouTube.com/user/EvergladeGuardians to see clips, and watch for our next newsletter with specific end-of-year giving levels.

We have several grant applications pending including the Guggenheim Foundation, Rauschenberg Foundation, FordFilms, Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Aaron Siskind Foundation and others.  We also are discussing partnering with appropriate environmental or art organizations to increase the impact of our message.  Do you have any good suggestions? Let us know.
